Re: What did you do today.

@ToD - Sounds like you had fun. Recently I have had a bunch of minis sitting on my painting desk at the 'almost finished' stage. A couple of hours work should see them done. So last night after work... I went home and played Mordheim on my PC. :D I know I should get back to my brushes, but the game ...

Re: Let's have a GW rumors and sneak peeks thread!

There's rumors that the Immolator and/or whatsit, organ rocket launcher thing, will lean in more heavily to the Deimos angle. They've definitely shown and mentioned specifically a lot more bits than you can see on this model. I'm hoping that they do, but I'm surprised that they would go for an upgr...

Re: WarCry

I'm running hot and cold on Warcry, the models are gorgeous, even the ones I don't like (Cypher Lords) look well designed. The terrain is likewise awesome and I'd be tempted to pick some up if it were available* and reasonably priced. Smooth game-play with alternating activations sounds like my cup ...

Re: WarCry

Nice looking spread on that table. The game looked pretty too. :D Some more line of sight blocking terrain would probably help limit your snake-girls a little. The fact that you could pick off a guy from clear across the table seems like a good advantage. The 'nominate a model to survive' missions a...

Re: Mtg arena open beta

Last night I tried a new mix for the Standard event. Blue/White (Azorius?) mid-range. I managed to win two consecutive games twice, with one loss inbetween and nary a cavalcade in sight. After that I took my M20 Standardized Feather deck onto the ranked ladder and went 5:4, losing to a couple of cav...

Re: Interesting stuff I found via facebook today...

Yeah, that is a very, very, very nicely painted piece anyway you look at it. I wouldn't even know where to start on something like that.

Re: On the bench 2015

Some of those old Empire models were great sculpts, the map as a background is a nice choice too.

Re: What did you do today.

If you spend at least 100 pounds in a GW brick and mortar store they’ll ship it internationally for free, yeah. It seems kind of counter-intuitive given their usual policies of 'pay local prices', but it's not a bad offer if you have someone local who can actually get to the store. Today I spent a ...
