Re: What did you do today.

as I mentioned on the central japan group, i think the purple is quite strong, but the warpaint really works. So much so that I think I'll nick the idea and use it on my own orkses when I eventually get em.They do say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so I guess blatant thievery is the si...

Those new stormcast all get the nod from me. Very dynamic. Much swoosh 👍🏻 Those orcs, though...*chef’s kiss* Bloody marvellous. The proportions, style and details are exactly what I want from orcs. That big hyena beast thing is also awesome. Very much me like.

Re: Warhammer Underworlds

Many thanks for the games this evening, Dave. Clearly the builder of that Pageant deck knew what he was doing! I'll try to build my own deck for next time and not be a filthy net decker. Hopefully we can roll some virtual dice again next weekend :)

Re: Mtg arena open beta

I can’t speak for the praetors, but for Dragonstorm, I’m thinking Galazeth/dwarves/treasure ramp into a quick Dragonstorm pulling 2 or 3 big nasties from the deck. That’s the theory, anyway. As for the praetors, aye, they’re pricey. Rhys (or anything green, really) can ramp into them without too muc...

Soooo, Historic Anthologies 5. Smells of Phyrexians... https://magic.wizards.com/en/articles/archive/magic-digital/get-ready-historic-anthology-5-2021-05-17 As with all the anthologies, there’s some stuff in there I like, some I don’t, and some that make me shrug. For me, the biggies are Sheoldred (...

Re: What did you do today.

@MiJ It's just a sign that you deserve a new one anyways ;) That’s pretty much my take on it, too :) Having spent most of the weekend fighting my way from one child-induced crisis to another, I reckon I’m owed a new shiny (all very minor crises, mind, but my time-to-myself yesterday amounted to 14 ...
