Re: What did you do today.

I've been pretty slow with painting recently but I finally managed to finish off my Wyvern. It took longer because of the exposed crew compartment, but it's a fun little vehicle to paint. [ That's a whole lotta dakka and a lot of lovely little detail. You could really go to town and full-on Tamiya ...

Re: What did you do today.

Wow, people have been really busy I see. Love that Wyvern! and those contrast paints are REALLY working out for Tod [ In today's episode of Jus sculpt! The 36 inches of green stuff I ordered turns out ....is ALOT of green stuff. The first 3 attempts at the trench coat were abysmal failures. This on...

Today I finished up 3 Elves. My apologies to Konrad, I hope the following doesn't trigger your pointy-ear allergy.

Achooo. And it's not really an allergy. It's pure racism. But I save it for totally imaginary people, like elves and the French. :D

Re: Wanted - Pox walkers

Hey! Here is your chance to try sculpting! Deformed, twisted, bloated monsters are a very forgiving subject for a beginner. My very first figures were zombies and blue horrors.
And I approve of your desire for Blanchitsu. May this be your initiation into a higher understanding of Blanchitsu.

@ Konrad: WOW! That’s your daughter’s work? She’s really good.
The drawing is. The figure is me.

Re: What did you do today.

@ToD- Once again, utterly revolting color choices. Keep up the good work. I have not been doing a lot of hobby-ing these days. But take a look at this crazy monster my daughter made! She assures me it is "cute" and "otonashii". Thank goodness, I was thinking it was "feral" and "possibly poisonous". ...

Re: Looking for Mundane Hobby Supplies

I'm looking for two things primarily. 1st: I need some clear coat to seal my models when I'm done painting them. I don't want anything that is matte or gloss or anything, just a clear coat that protects the paint underneath. I've also noticed that my Blood for the Blood God gets sticky after a few ...

Re: What did you do today.

@Jye- I do dig those new big-a-shield marines. Are they the "Indomitus" in the name? Would be a fun painting project to bling up one of those.

Re: July Nagoya Games Day: July 26th in Higashi Betsuin

I'm 50/50 on whether I will make it or not. If I do go, it will be utterly unlivable once I get home after a selfish plunge into the nightmare realm of Covid contagion. Of course I work at a junior high school every day. Which can be best described as a seething cauldron of hundreds of children craw...
