Re: Moonstone

Hi chaps and chapesses, Quick update. First bit of painting since the Spring. I can't use imgur now as it's not available in my region so here's a quick you tube link to my hobby channel. First one is the Masquerade Duchess with the coach from Pike and Shotte. https://youtube.com/shorts/7WFDrMRfZpA?...

Re: Prim Pontificates - Wargames should be more asymmetrical

It calculates everything by measured distances and modifiers based on environmental and models characteristics. Weirdly it looks like it would work. (The Woods).

Re: Moonstone

The models have only just turned up so at the moment I'm just painting them for the fun of painting them. Haven't bought the game yet. I have the 3 witches and the masquerade.

Ingeniously it has no dice, cards or random element. It takes away the frustration of rolling 1s and rewards players for their use of strate...

Re: Is GW too prolific?

No. It's good they have lots of games to choose from. I wouldn't want to be invested in all of them. I'm happy painting and collecting the old fantasy old world miniatures.

Re: Prim Pontificates - Wargames should be more asymmetrical

I tend to paint more than game these days. However I do like to play King's of War once a year with a buddy. It's great as it allows us to field anything from our historical and fantasy collections. Last year skaven vs Samurai and this year kingdom of man historical and fantasy armies. There are poi...

Re: Just testing the waters - Historical Projects??

Hey Jo,

Saw your post about leaving Japan. Good luck with new endeavours and wishing you well. Did you find a home for your legendary French army?

Best,

Ashley

Edit: Wrong thread. Was looking for Job's post about his Napoleonic French. Have pm'd.
