Always good to rescue some old minis. The Perry's were the ones who sculpted the original LotR minis, weren't they? Good call on using their medieval parts to fix up your collection.

Are they all 1/72 scale/20mm? My image of airfix minis is that they are a lot more bendy than hard plastics like Warlord or Warhammer. How were they for painting?

I'm also looking at using BP for solo play. Any tips?
