Re: Malifaux 2025
Well, if it's coming out of his medical bag, your guess is as good as mine. I mean, he's some sort of 'orrible little haemunculous serial killer* thingy, so, I mean, anything could be in there... *what is the copycat killer, anyhoo? Is he a little person? A neverborn? Something else? I'm not very up...

Re: Malifaux 2025
maybe there are tentacle-y things in the sewers? Given Malifaux, I'd be surprised if there weren't, tbh.
Also, many thanks for these periodic updates. I often miss Wyrd's info drops, so it's much appreciated

Re: Prim Pontificates- ...but am I really though?
I definitely understand what Prim's getting at here. I've been going through my cupboards recently, attempting to rejig my storage space, and have been pulling out old boxes full of minis I'll likely never use. I have a ton of Cryx, but am I a warmachine player? Well, no. Haven't played it in years,...

Re: Prim Pontificates - I am a (???) player
I am a lazy gamer. There, I said it. With more nuance, I am a gamer who doesn't have half as much free time as he'd like, so I tend to gravitate towards games that allow for easy parsing of rules and which can be played with minimal investment of hobby time. If I already have minis I can use for a g...

Re: Prim Pontificates - Wargames should be more asymmetrical
All this is personal opinion, but I love narrative games (which is just another way of saying asymmetrical). I think if you're a frequent gamer, to whom rapid setup and smooth logistics matters, then balanced, points-driven games are the most applicable option. But, speaking for myself as someone wh...

Re: NagoyaHammer, Discord and the Future
Blimey. I've been over on the discord a bit (if I'm honest, I've been commenting there more than I have on this site in recent times) but I'll miss the simplicity and ease of lookup on this site. There's a lot of good information and personal memories for me here. Most of my hobby time in Japan is d...

I'm in for 30points. I'll need to read up on the rules, but hopefully we can all muddle along together.
Looking forward to flipping some cards

Re: July 2025 Nagoya Games Day: 7/20 at e-able
@underdweller and @balloonacorn - aye, I concur. I don't have any expectations of a smooth-runnin' tactical fest, but I think it'd be interesting to at least try out the new rules and see how they go. I'm lining up a game of Trench crusade with Grantholomeu, too, so I'll need to be careful with time...

Re: Trench Crusade
Yeah, a trench board keeps calling me with its siren song. I actually even already have one, but it's 3 4x2ft boards and does not travel well. It's also a desert, and designed for 40k, so I really really want to make a proper, smaller, denser mud-filled trench board. But where would I keep it? ....e...
