Re: October 2025 Nagoya Games Day

Anyone want to do something Halloween-y? We used to do a Mordhiem game in October years back. Some Zombie-friendly Frostgrave? I could even dig out Strange Aeons!

I'll be in for Blackstone in the morning. I'll probably do some BANGARANGA or Star/Frostgrave or something with Itakura.

Re: Moonstone

Oh! Those are fun! Yes, whimsical is the word. Got a Brian Froud/Arthur Rackham/Terry Gilliam sort of vibe going on. Those trolls and the Goblin Airship are hilarious!

Re: NagoyaHammer, Discord and the Future

Prim! Good to hear from you old man. I will be sad to see the forum go. Discord might be more convenient and useful, but it is visually noisy and annoying. These old forums are simple and clean and let you concentrate. But yeah, as there are like a dozen of us who regularly use it, perhaps the time ...

Re: July 2025 Nagoya Games Day: 7/20 at e-able

Hi all, July's game day will by Sunday the 20th, back at e-able in Higashibetsuin (venue link for any new folks). We'll be in meeting room 4, which is the usual room on the first floor. Cost is 500 yen for the day as per usual. I'll have Blackstone in the morning, and am currently trying to arrange...

Re: Trench Crusade

Yeah, a trench board keeps calling me with its siren song. I actually even already have one, but it's 3 4x2ft boards and does not travel well. It's also a desert, and designed for 40k, so I really really want to make a proper, smaller, denser mud-filled trench board. But where would I keep it? .......

Re: Trench Crusade

I'll have to check out the fiction. I was listening to a lot of history podcasts, "Revolutions" "The History of England" "Age of Napoleon" and there is plenty of horrible things in real life that you hardly need to add demons to it. Man, if I only had space for a modular trench board.......... That ...

@ job- Thanks again for all the bits. I will get that Agrax Earthshade on some toys as soon as I get a break! I have not done any painting in ages. Maybe I'll get one of the Beastmen and bling him out. Got plenty of skulls to do it! Good luck on your future endeavors Stateside, wishing you the best!

Re: Trench Crusade

Trench Crusade does look fun, grimdark on steroids. I watched that video interview with Tuomos Pirren. They were like, "Oh, this is the artist (Mike Francia I think?). He was doing art for Diablo, but it wasn't dark enough...."
