Hi all,

This is just a post to get expressions of interest in participating in a one-day 1000 point Bolt Action day on August 15th (Sat) at the same venue as NagoyaHammer (Kanayama Nihon Tokusyutougyou Shiminkaikan) in Kanayama in Nagoya.

I'm working on a detailed player pack, but the basics are a 1000-point, 3 game event, not restricted to any specific time or theatre.

Please let me know if you are interested below, and what army/armies you'd consider bringing. I'd like to try and get a balance of Axis/Allies players if possible.

If you don't have an army, but would like to join in, please also add your name below. Teams of 2 x 500 point armies are fine, but both players need to be from the same side (Axis or Allied).

I'm in.

Given the time frame, I can bring 1000 points of:
Russian Army - early-late war.
German Grenadiers - late war.
SS Grenadiers - late war.
US Army - mid war.

And potentially:
US Airborne - late war.
British Armoured Car Squadron - late war.

Any limits on armoured platoons etc?

Probably no armoured platoons at this stage - I'm not sure if they unbalance things? (having not tried them out myself...)

That's what I figured.

Sound great..All going to plan though, I'll be in the UK for a holiday then. If something changes and I do find myself in Japan I will definitely attend. That isn't much use to you though, I know.

Could be interesting not sure if i have 1000 points of russians, no armored platoon means no tanks what so ever or are one or two tanks allowed?

No armoured platoons means you can use the standard theatre selectors in the Russian book, which allow 1 tank and 1 armoured car per infantry platoon. You can't use the selectors from the Tank War book that was released last year.
At 1000 points you can actually get 2 inexperienced infantry platoons, thereby gaining access to two inexperienced tanks, but they'll be pinned by anything stronger than a rifle.

You at allowed to use theater selectors. You are also allowed to use two platoons, but we've decided at this time to restrict Armored Platoons and special characters.

I might also mention, Yellow-Streak has been hard at work creating themed missions and tables, so if you have a themed list that fits a certain table we'll try to give you first shot at a certain mission.

I might also mention we are trying to get some Prize support organized. At the least, I'll try to offer some BA prizes to be given out by drawing.
