Big thanks to Konrad for the game of Mordheim. It was good to be swinging with the dwarves. I guess they took kind of thumping (or prickling with arrows). I lost one eye, one arm, an injured hand and nearly lost the apprentice smith. Well, at least the apprentice can already truly claim "hardened" status after suffering multiple injuries and getting nearly literally thrown out of the arena. (Hmph dwarves hate being thrown.) Well, hopefully the treasure hunting gets smoother from now on.

"lost an eye and an arm..." look at it as a colorful conversion challenge. Or the start of a pirate theme warband! Next time you'll be more careful and not walk under the bridge I am lurking on, waiting for some death from above action. Everything I've read is that Dwarven warbands take a bit of time and care to get started, but once they get rolling, watch out!

Yup, yup. Although I feel sorry for the poor berzerker models that is going under the knife. :D

:D I had a similar thing happen to a ganger in necromunda. She was standing at the top of a high tower, sniping at folk with her lasgun, and eventually she got shot. Fair enough, but then she fell off the tower, rolled multiple injuries, one of them was multiple injuries again, and then hey, multiple injuries again. Miraculously, though, those injuries amounted to hideous scars (cause fear), hatred of Konrad's gang leader (this seems to be a recurring problem with my gangers  ), and several other head injury related psychological issues. She may have broken a coupla fingers, too. Afterwards, she was subsequently converted up to have a mask and patchwork cloak. Anyway, the point is that with necromunda and mordheim its important to just roll with whatever happens to your gang. If they get beaten to crap, then convert em up covered in bandages and whatnot. Its not about winning so much as story telling, so get chopping with that berserker! :D

this lass on the right, btw :)

Well, maybe we don't like you very much either :x
That was the high point of that game. The rest of it involved me catching facefuls of plasma pistol until I ran away if I remember correctly.
