@ Konrad: Awesome game. Good to get back into Mordeim, even if I'm starting from scratch again. Hopefully this time I don't misplace the papers. :) Look forward to the next rumble in the pumpkin patch. (Although I think the same beardling will refuse to search down the latrine again for treasure.)
A pleasure to get "Dwarvenhiem" started. I was really sweating it there that last turn with most of my warband locked up in melee and that big ole pile of gromil armored Dwarf Noble burying his battleaxe in my Vampire's chest. I was like, "Wow, I am in exactly the position I set out not to be in!"
Lucky for me Vampires have 2 wnds and you actually failed the bottle test! Very cinematic!

"Dwarven steel will send you back to your grave! Die monster!" (Whack!)
(Vampire grasps axe by the handle and wrenches it from it's ribcage) "hssssssss.....You gaze upon Immortality. Now Flee! Back to your burrow and tremble!"
...and now his Head was full of nothing but Inchantments, Quarrels, Battles, Challenges, Wounds, Complaints, Amours, and abundance of Stuff and Impossibilities.....

If I hadn't stolen the initiative AND had all my reserves arrive immediately, I don't think it would have been much of a game!
Yep, those Terminators really won the day for you! And I thought they were our friends :(

And I breathed a sigh of relief. That combat could have put me right back in my grave. I need to think of a name for my Vampire. I'm sure I'll think of something spooky.
