Oh, I have the boyz handled for now. There are perhaps 10 of them still armed with sluggas and swords instead of shootas, and I'm still short 2 big shootas, but everything else is done.
Perhaps I'll get some of that done this weekend, but my grots are half-painted and they come first.

Unfortunately I am working tomorrow :( Have a great day of Nagoya Hammer practice and other fun shenanigans - not that you lot are in any way silly or mischievous, I just like the word. ;) See you on all Friday! :D

My wife has come down sick suddenly, so I'm going to have to stay home.
Feel free to call me Dave!

Today was a wonderful learning experience for me. Tanya thanks for the practice game and Brad and Eric thanks for the games. It was a good learning experience with my tau.

Ack. Once again foiled by my arch-nemesis and her plucky side-kick Badruck...... I was feeling pretty good after the first couple of turns, but by Turn 3 I realized I set my forces up stupidly and we had not killed anything important (except that Skyray with the lucky, lucky, lucky quad gun shot. ack and double ack
...and now his Head was full of nothing but Inchantments, Quarrels, Battles, Challenges, Wounds, Complaints, Amours, and abundance of Stuff and Impossibilities.....

Thanks for the games, Badruck! It was good to have a chance to try out the new codex before Nagoyahammer and get a sense of what works.

Konrad and Brad, thanks for the game, it was actually pretty close, I think. Konrad, don't worry, I also have problems with my target priority! Unless I remind myself of the object of the game a lot, I tend to revert to primal Tau Lurk instinct (hide and shoot whatever is big, scary, and/or coming towards me the fastest).

Thanks everyone who played with me. A first chance to play against new Tau and against Necrons will hopefully stand me in good stead Friday. Anyway, I had fun!
