Thanks to everyone who came! It was great to try out all the new models I've been painting.

What? They call that a "Darkest" Dungeon? More like "Quite Comfortable Dungeon, Housekeeping Leaves Mints On Your Pillows". Boy did we luck out. I did not even know that "Nothing Happens" was a result on the exploration dice until now. We'll just have to see if our luck holds out next episode. Stay tuned.
Afternoon I finally got in a game of Bangarang with Itakura! He made a horrible (scratch built except for the hand and arm-Daiso monster) and we squechily, scampered and slithered about, crushing and bio-electrically zapping each other. It turned into a long game as both our 'bots regenerate lost hit points! But I finally managed to get my hands (well hand...) on ....whatever indescribable monstrosity Itakura sculpted is called and popped it like a festering boil. Yuck! Hilarious! The game really takes a different mindset from other skirmish games. Movement is in strict straight-lines, stop, turn. Even a little bit of terrain can block you. Cover is all - or -nothing LOS. But with that being said, with everyone's bots arms and tentacles and eye-stalks sticking out everywhere, you still have to be generous just because actual placement can be difficult. Anyhow, fun, fun game. Dead easy, but I think will take a lot of practice to master. I think it would be even better with like 4-6 players!
