Looks like I will not be making this day, and quite likely not August either. Hopefully see you all in September!

I will be able to attend. With the new Genestealer Codex at hand, it would be great if I can try it in a morning 40K game.
As I played the current edition just once or twice and left it more than a year, it would be better if anyone can remind me of the rules and introduce me to the current 40K environments in a rather smaller game. Any volunteer or suggestion for point costs?
Combat Patrol is the easiest way to (re)learn the core rules, otherwise a 1000pt game might be the easiest way to experience some of the new book?

Thank you for your suggestion! I would prepare for a 1000 points game for the morning.

AOS 4 will be out! It's time to try Spearhead, any interest?

The one caveat is I'm not sure how many fully painted forces I'll have available, especially with only a week between the box arriving and the game day. I'll have Yndrasta's Stormcast but my Gits might be partially painted and the Skaven/new Stormcast probably just assembled. That being said it comes with rules for all current Spearhead/Vanguard boxes so if anyone has one of those painted or reasonable proxies we should have some painted matchups.
I have 5 days off so I am going to splash some paint on my Soulblight and/or Kruleboyz. Not sure which is going to be better in Spearhead.

Still looking for a game?

Yeah absolutely!

The rules for Kruelboyz and Soulblight should be out over the next couple of days - yesterday was Chaos and the day before was Order.

I think I will try to go. I won't have any armies in a playable state, but would like to try out AoS.

Oops a little late, but I shall be there too for some 40k. I'll try with CSM again. I need to practice their rules ^^.

Of course!

A lot of us like to make an effort to play all painted because it's nice but there's no requirement. Realistically game day and painting schedule aren't going to line up and all of us have different levels of opportunity to paint/engagement with the painting side/good spots to prime in this damn weather.

I'll be playing some grey plastic Spearhead for sure since I only laid hands on most of the minis last Saturday, they're lucky they got assembled
