Hi, everybody!
Since it's 2025 and people might prefer / be more active on it, I threw up a simple discord server here: https://discord.gg/C2kvN6MK (Since we have the one Karantu put together in Covid times, but he's moved on to other things and I don't know if anyone has admin privileges.) Not to say we should stop using this site! Just an option to see what might happen, activity-wise.

Feel free to call me Dave!

I’m going to see if I can drop in. Anyone up for any really really light gaming? I’m super rusty.
Just a pipe dream, but anyone want to grant my wish and to play 3rd Ed or 5th Ed 40k? (I can recall how to play these editions but not the whichever edition we are on now.)

@konrad: Sorry. I’ll be showing up in the afternoon, some time after 2pm. Sorry my wife made some family plans tonight for tomorrow that I’m obliged to go to now. I’ll see you drinks and food.

Thanks for a real nailbiter of a game! Getting tabled but winning by a single point is a first for me.
I'll hope to see you all in June. @Awesomecakeman09 we should play some kill team scenarios!

Thanks for the games and company folks! Sorry to Alan, Al and Matt for having to put up with elf bullshit, at least you have the consolation of having killed *most* of them.
I kind of wish we were there more often, it's probably a bit easier than Higashi Betsuin for me and the Turkish food I had for lunch was pretty good! OTOH having baklava every month would shorten my lifespan for sure.

Thanks for the Blackstone game Dave. I always appreciate your encyclopedic knowledge of these intricate boardgames and your patience with us as we fumble along through them.
And yeah, it was a good room. Close to the station and to close to kebabs. Hard to beat that. Me and job stopped by Y Market afterwards for a couple pints and a chat. Which was also hard to beat.

...and now his Head was full of nothing but Inchantments, Quarrels, Battles, Challenges, Wounds, Complaints, Amours, and abundance of Stuff and Impossibilities.....
