Is that for the team game Asch, you and Job VS Tenorikuma and my elves?

@Underdweller: Sounds good to me. I'll confirm child minding arrangements and let you know if there's any problem.

@Everyone else bringing fantasy: if there's an opportunity for a morning game, I'll probably take it. If not, no problem.

I didn't mean the scenario for the doubles, because it is about reaching opposite table edges and seems not to suit dwarfs. If job prefer the doubles, the scenario needs more adaptations. " Small band of dwarfs tries to keep its last stand while Empire soldiers try to run as fast as they can to call for rescue" , might be interesting. Let's ask job if he likes doubles or not for the afternoon.

Personally I'd be up for doubles! It would be something novel. Anyway, I think we'll all get a lot of 1-on-1 games in the next year.

I like the scenario idea, Asch. I am okay with anything. I think it could write up into pretty good fluff. :D
BTW, if we do a team battle, how many points? Maybe 1000- 1250 points? Maybe 1200? It is kind of nice easy number to quarter and halve, but gives you enough points to put a few interesting units together.

Of course, if you guys like 1-on-1 matches, that is hokie-dokie with me. :)

OK, cool! If you can come, how many points should we play? Does 1500 sound OK? If you can't make it, no prob, I'll just watch and learn from other games.

A 1200 points team battle sound nice.As you pointed out, multiples of either 1000 or 400 are convenient for army building in the 8th Ed. Additionally, it seems better to set no limit for Lords in cases of campaign games.

Ok guys. I agree with the 1200 and the no limit on lords due to campaign personalities.

@Asch - Shall we play a game in the afternoon, too?

I'm planning on playing Strange Aeons, but I doubt all day. Any of the FB players want to give Mordheim a go? If not, I can bring some 40K too. But just a small army and not much terrain. I can't haul that much stuff around.

Of course, we can. Won't we play 2000 points standard scenario battle outside the campaign setting?
As you mentioned, it would be better for us to prepare for main battles in the campaign.
