Well, it turns out that this was to be my last Joshin Game Day. I had a great time and had an exciting game against Asch and his Baldur list. It was my first time going up against Circle and their movement denial. His paint job was great, too. Thanks Asch!

Satoru-san also came by and showed me and Itakura-san this really awesome game where you make airplane sounds and lay down cards to move your airplanes, Wings of War. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes to make airplane sounds. I don't want to pay so much for cards so I think I might just make my own version and print it out.

Thanks everyone for the past couple years of great games and fine company. I'll try to make my visits back to Japan coincide with events or game days if possible. I'll be available on Vassal, too, but I think the time difference might make things difference...

@Konrad: Thanks for the game, it was a blast!

I was off to a bad start, what with the sneaky orks hiding in terrain and shooting me with many, many shots, but my 2 lucky genestealers and near unkillable Hive Tyrant made it a close game. Also it was my first time to succesfully synergize my Termagaunts with my Tervigon and Hive Tyrant to make them half-way decent fighters!

Anyway, back on the hive ship they are reviewing the battle and deciding what adaptions are needed to have a delicious meal of greens.

@Jus

Well, I huffed and puffed a little at the beginning ^-^ but that is just a typical gamer reaction to the new and ethereal :D ;)

But I learnt that a unit of treekin and two heroes on eagle buffed by a spell that gives +3 attacks and +3 strength can most definitely turn zombies to mush! Though if that unit with the white kings had got round to the rear a bit sooner, things would not have been as chipper for the woodies. By the way, great placement of the ethereal units! Blocked me wolf riders up good!

I will have my next fluff installment soon!

Thanks Jus :D

@Mike

Thanks for the sound advice all the way through, though I reckon you wished you hadn't recommended the epic ending, as luck allowed Capn Sicarius to lop your elf lord's head off. Wyches are sooooooooooooo nasty!!!!! :twisted: A shame my devastator squad shoot like Orcs - no offense Admiral - otherwise I could have shot down those wych carriers!

Anyway - a win for the Desert Scorpions :D

Thanks Mike :D

Thank YOU for playing with me and discussing my list's merits and demerits with me!
Hope you will have a nice trip back to your homeland and can make us some visits in near future!
