Konrad, any news from Itakura?
I would also be up for 40k if that would be what you want to do tomorrow. I have DA models that I'm dying to play a first game of 6th Ed. with. Of course, Mordheim fun is good, too, especially if we can get a couple of games in.

If you are dyin for 40K, I could bring 1000 pts and we could do that instead. I've played maybe 6 games or so of 6th and I have not gotten my head around all the changes myself. (Not that I've ever gotten my head around 5th, 4th or much anything else). I'm curious to see what silliness the latest codex will wreak. I hope we are not going to be facing BA levels of silly. Let me know before you head out this morning.job wrote:Konrad, any news from Itakura?

@ MtP: Good game. It was very enjoyable. While the game may have broke decisively in my direction toward the middle, but I think you were hamstrung by poor wind of magic rolls. (two 4-1s, a 6-1 and a 1-1 as far as I recall).
@ Konrad: Awesome game. Good to get back into Mordeim, even if I'm starting from scratch again. Hopefully this time I don't misplace the papers.
Look forward to the next rumble in the pumpkin patch. (Although I think the same beardling will refuse to search down the latrine again for treasure.)

@Koji - Thanks for the side game of Fantasy - it was pretty intense. I will never underestimate Treemen again!
@Auxryn - Thanks for the game of 40K. My Tau Cadre has decided to stop inviting Orks to join them anymore, as they obviously don't understand the Greater Good. In fact I think we may have to defect from the Tau Empire and join Commander Farsight in the near future...

@Underdweller - Yep, those Treekin were the trees of the match! But I shall never underestimate a Slann Priest! Phew that is one tough Jabba
Oh, and slinks and fire breathing Salamanders
they may be small but they are all over the place like Gremlins on Redbull! Thanks for the game and I look forward to our next one.
@Mike - Always a pleasure mate. Magic was the saving grace for both of us today, eh. That BSB of yours is a tough bickie, like an anzac biscuit left outside for a year and then put in the freezer! Thanks for the down to the wire fun.

@koji and job : thanks for the games guys. Both bloody but enjoyable affairs.

Re: Joshin 24th
Thanks for the games!
The game with Kondo-san was a real nail-biter. I've heard of 'advancing to the rear', but 'retreating to the front' was a new experience.
I was really dreading what would happen in the second match - facing a Tau gun line across mostly open ground in a Hammer and Anvil deployment and my only transport is made of paper. If I hadn't stolen the initiative AND had all my reserves arrive immediately, I don't think it would have been much of a game!
