@Asch
@Underdweller

I've to a bag full off terrain packed and ready, but I stupidly forgot my tape measure and dice. Could I use yours tomorrow?

.

You can count on us about it.

By the way, my son is sticking to his idea to join our game. He has 2 squads of Tactical Marines, which worth 350 points. Won't you mind playing 1000 points 2 on 1.5 (my son and me plyaing IG and Marines)?

I am going to arrive around 10:00 a.m.
I have an appointment with Kondo-san for an afternoon Kill-Team game.

I've made a 750pt list and a 1000 point list, so no problem :)

jeepers!

Just realised I have no afternoon game lined up. Yuss, I is a doofus :oops:

So, based on what I read in this thread, it seems like 40k or some version thereof is the way forward. I'll bring my 40k minis (well, some of em) and hopefully some kind soul will have pity on me and be my opponent for summat in the afternoon.

*fingers crossed*

*edit* will bring frostgrave minis too, just in case Underdweller sees this and is still looking for an afternoon game. Not sure about terrain, though.

I'm playing Adv SC with ToD. I'm sure you could jump in on that. I'd be up for more One Page 40K or some kind of Kill Team. We can figure something out dude :)

I'll bring along Strange Aeons in case there is a chance for a game.

Well, I think I am playing 1 page 40K with Ash and son and Spevna in the morning, and then some sort of Halloween themed board game in the afternoon.

But this day seems very up in the air, I'll bring along a few fantasy themed minis as well and see what happens!

thanks, all :)

We shall see what the day brings. I've packed my frostgrave band, their roster and the rulebook, as well as a bunch of dark eldar and a couple of 1 page 40k lists. Plus my X-wing stuff for the morning. Looking forward to it :)

A good day of gaming ladies and gentlemen. One Page 40K is great! We did a 1000 and a 1500 pt game both in about 3 hours. That time included whipping up army lists, trash talking and the time we spent stunned in disbelief at that Battlesuit/Helion conflagration. And from the commentary on the other thread, you can see it's just as much fun as the regular game. The synergies and strategies totally change.
And that Mansions of Madness game was a lot of fun. The last sane investigator fleeing into the night with the evidence, burning mansion in the background, made for a very appropriate and cinematic finale. Happy Halloween! Interesting how the tablet app sort of bridges the board game/ computer rpg, divide.
And Itakura lent me his English ed of Frostgrave. I almost missed my stop this morning pouring over it. That looks like a lot of fun. So many games, so little time......
...and now his Head was full of nothing but Inchantments, Quarrels, Battles, Challenges, Wounds, Complaints, Amours, and abundance of Stuff and Impossibilities.....
