@job, jus
Can I jump into the "narrative small 40K(-ish?)" morning game?
I can bring an Imperial detachment of 750-1000 pt, combining my Guards and my son's Astartes.
Hop on this train! It hasn't left the station yet!
Well this is looking like an Imperial crowd. Instead of having my Night Lords be the odd-man-out, how about we have a small Imperial Civil War? Forces of the Imperium, under the leadership of agents and governors with different points-of-view, start a small war. The loser of this battle will be declared Excommunicatus Traitorus!
What do you think? I can bring Skitarii with some Dark Angel successor chapter as support.

I think it is a fine idea. And my son is also used to the idea of Imperial civil wars, as we play them at home

Watching Rogue One, he even knows sometimes good guys cannot work together. I'll try my best to win the war, lest he won't growl like General Grievous.

@ Asch, Jus: Would one of us like to bring 1500 points? One option is for Asch's son to play a full 750 points. We could role for alliances. If Asch and his son are together, it will be father and son against the enemy like at Ulanor. If it is Asch vs his son, Asch can help with both sides and it will be like the Siege of Terra, father against son.
Or I could bring 750 points more Dark Angels or true heretics, Night Lords? Or would you like to bring some more Space Smurfs, Jus?

Could I get in on the narrative action? I can bring 750pts of orks (or even more, if you really want to do Ullanor!) and later I can use the same models for Gorka and Morka.
Actually, the idea of reenacting Ullanor is really getting my Waaagh!!! up. I could bring a couple thousand points if needed.

@ Auxryn: Let's rok n' roll with your Orks! Truely, anybody ending up on your side will be suspect of being heretical.

Please post up the outline of you 750 list when you are ready.
Let's save the 2350 points of Orks does another date.

@job: oh very well.... but you owe me a battle of Ullanor!!!!
@Auxryn: Battle of ullanor next time! We should really do it. Why don't we combine orks (within reason) for one for the sagas.
Battle of Ullanor (minus the emperor and primarchs)
