@ Asch: Thank you for speaking with Kondo-San. I am happy to play with his Superheavy vehicle sometime, but I think it takes a little planning to keep a game with superheavies fun for everyone.

What a great day of gaming! Thanks YS and TOD. "Sails of Glory" was great fun with a good result (although very ahistorical) for the French Navy. Bolt Action saw the Free French fighting their Vichy counterparts in the deserts of the Levant. The Legionnaires of the 13ème DBLE and their Pacific allies captured the Vichy commander sealing another victory for the French.

@Asch - You're welcome.

Thanks to Komura and ToD for the games today. My morning game of Malifaux saw Rasputina's crew kill off a bunch of Witchling Stalkers under the command of Sonnia Criid. No doubt they'll have to round up some more arcanists to replenish their ranks. The game was fairly one sided as I flipped high cards for nearly all of Komura san's attacks. Hopefully the one-sided nature of the game and the complexity of Malifaux hasn't put Komura san off playing again.
In the afternoon I played ToD at Drop Fleet Commander. My thoughts on that are over in the DFC thread. To sum up, the game itself seems ok, but perhaps is not the best fit for me personally.

I'd also like to thank Pikey for continuing his long-running tradition of talking about certain allied tanks in a loud voice, particularly the British version of the US built M3 Light Tank.
It never gets old. :lol: :lol: :lol: ... :roll:

The only military 'Mike' that I could find was a single vessel experimental class of Soviet attack submarine. So unless you want to get into Cold War naval wargaming then hard cheese old bean. You'd better hope we get a new member called Lee or Grant sometime soon eh :twisted:

@Asch, Job, Kondo-san

Thanks for a good game of 40k today. It's been a while since I've had a chance to use the orks. I can only assume that the Imperial forces will press their (marginal) victory and continue their attack on Ullanor!

Frostgrave is good fun. Itakura and I had a very cinematic game. Between his terrain and my Mordheim towers and bridges, we had a really nice board set up. The game ended with his last soldier frantically trying to run off the board, dragging his loot behind him, being chased down alleyways by rat-men. But we had a big dramatic face off, one lone infantryman swarmed by a mob of thieves and thugs on a bridge (ended badly for that infantry guy) and my wizard making a superfluous, but very cool swoop from the top of a tower via "Leap" spell. I'm looking forward to getting more. Want to build a bit more terrain too. Make some scenario specific odds and bobs would be fun little projects.
And you guys are welcome to the toys. More where those come from. I will be doing some more house cleaning.
...and now his Head was full of nothing but Inchantments, Quarrels, Battles, Challenges, Wounds, Complaints, Amours, and abundance of Stuff and Impossibilities.....

@ Auxryn, Kondo-San, Asch, and Asch Jr.: Good game! It was good fun. I think everyone had a chance to destroy something. Particularly, very good job to Asch Jr. and his Space Marine hero! He won the game on the last turn!
