So what are people interested in playing?

Myself, I'd like to see if I can shanghai / convince one or two people to use the 10mm armies of Middle-Earth I've been (slowly) slaving over since forever, and do some Five Armies Battling! (I promise the game won't take as long as the movie did, and Legolas won't be all wuxia jumping around slaughtering armies single-handedly either. ) I have a demo game all worked out using the Sword and Spear ruleset, which promises to be easy to get a handle on and quick(ish) to play. Any takers? I'd be more than happy to ref a couple test subjects if more than one person is interested.

As for your game, I'd love to try it out, but I want to see if I can loop some people into Warhammer or Bolt Action, and to let other people line up for your game first. Sounds fun and interesting though.

I'm moving house that weekend, so I guess I will see you guys at the Feb Joshin.

It seems like the 25th Jan at Zengo then. I would really love to try Battle of the Five Armies, but I'd better not commit at this stage since I have another gaming session in January. It's on my radar though.

I plan to be there, Bolt Action is my preference, but happy to see what others want to do.

I should have my Dropzone Commander army finished by then. Failing that, there is always 40k.

Sounds good, although it'll be weird with Pacific Aussies vs Desert French Foreign Legion!

I'll be there with 40k. Although, now that I have some infantry models, I'd be interested in trying out any other game that they would fit into.
