Regular (and irregular) events in the Nagoya area can be posted up here. If you want to get your gaming fix, this is the place to look first.

Mad Max anyone?

Post by Konrad » Mon Jun 15, 2015 11:41 pm

It's a zombie free end of the world. How long has it been since we've seen that?
It might just be me and the Gorkamorka kick I've been on but I am more than a little pumped to see it.
Anyone got plans to see it? Thinking it might be fun to get a group together and make an afternoon/evening out of it.

IF (big if) the timing is right, I could be available on Saturday night (27th) after the Joshin games. As long as I can get home on the last train. It's not playing in Tsu (damn youuuuuu Aaaaeeeeooooon Ciiiineeeemmaaaaassss!!!!!) but I'm keen to see it. If there was an opportunity to see it with you lot in Nagoya and still get in some gaming and make it home in time, I'd be well up for it.

I really want to see it but I'm working that day. I'll probably wait until it's the end of its run and then go and see it really late at night so I'm the only weirdo in the theatre. When I get up to leave the staff are trying to lock up and then they see there is still a guy in there!
It's something a buddy of mine does so he can sit in his favourite seat and have the theatre to himself. :)

Actually a rather civilized way of going about it.

I think I'll try next Saturday evening. Have to look at the times.

@ash - I believe the plan is for this coming Saturday. I certainly hope so, anyway.

@Konrad - soooooo, what's the plan for this Saturday? As long as I'm on the last train home I'm good, but it all rather depends on show times, doesn't it. I have no idea where the movie theatres are in Nagoya, or how handy they are for Nagoya station. Any ideas? My last train home is at *runs off and checks hyperdia...*

*....runs back* about half ten. Is that doable, do you reckon?
