Hi all,

April's games day will be on Sunday the 21st at the Nagoya Seishonen Shukuhaku Center near Minami-Odaka. I believe we get that room from 10am to 6pm, and as usual it's 500 yen for the day.

I hope to be able to make it, as I need to remind myself how to play 40K before NagoyaHammer a couple weeks later. I'd like to get in a 1000-point game or two if possible.

Hi Dave,

I'm planning on being there for pretty much the whole day if there are people who wanna play.

I can come for the whole day. Looking for a game or two of 40K and/or Kill team to get ready for Nagoyahammer.

Sorry for being a total newbie, but could someone give me the low-down on what exactly is Nagoyahammer?

Is it a tournament or just a big get-together? And is it very competitive?

It’s somewhere in between a tournament and a get-together, in that the 40K day is a series of three games where wins and losses are tracked and somebody ends up with the best record and “wins,” but it’s really just a very very casual excuse to get a bunch of local and semi-local people in a room and have fun playing and also get some beers the night before. Not very competitive at all, in other words. :D And the open play day is even less so.

If nobody minds being used as a guinea pig / being spoiled* for the NagoyaHammer missions, I might like to pair 40K-interested people up for 1000-point games and test out the handouts I'll be using for comprehensibility, see how long games might take, all that boring administrative stuff.

*Not that there's much to spoil - two of three are straight out of Chapter Approved.

I'll be coming for the morning only. I'd be keen to get in a game of 40k.

That’s five in the morning. Can I suggest two of us pair up with 500 pt forces for the sake of everyone getting a chance to play? (Unless a 6th player signs up.) I’d like to team up for one game.

@ TOD: I’m a willing guenia pig.
