March 2025 Nagoya Games Day: 3/16 at e-able
Hi all,
The March 2025 games day will be Sunday, March 16th, at e-able as we've been doing lately (link for new folks which I'd forgotten in the past couple announcements) in meeting room 4 on the third floor same as the past couple months. As usual we'll have the room from 9 to 4:30, and it'll cost 500 yen for the day if you play any games, and nothing if you just come to visit.
I'm planning on being there to finish up Darkest Dungeon one way or the other - update for Allan and Matt (but unfortunately Matt specifically) since it was just Eric and me, we beat the darkest dungeon sub-boss, but the Crusader died of stress-related heart attack complications after being forcibly warped through time and space one too many times (it's longer than you think!). Fortunately we do have one more patsy, er, hero waiting in the stagecoach for the final boss fight so while it was a Pyrrhic victory we didn't lose the campaign (yet). We didn't do the town phase at all, so we'll start with that.
No plans for the afternoon though! Probably spearhead unless somebody wants a demo / game of titanicus or something, and I'll be sure to remember to chuck Underworlds in my bag as well.

I would like to get a game of Malifaux in.
If no one is available I want to dust off the Blood Bowl board and remind myself how to play.

I will be there, probably with Loyalists of some kind again and probably running Canis Rex again in an effort not to get the knight trashed in turn one*
I reckon there won't be a lot of good priming opportunities between now and then so a new Spearhead might be a struggle so I'll leave the rats in there for now. Hopefully in April I can give Aeldari or Orks a run in 40k and new Stormcast or maybe Bonereapers for Spearhead.
*That didn't actually have to happen but I just *had* to poke out and take potshots at Terminators

An oppressor of the common people, his rank, privilege, and wealth all the product of a criminally unequal distribution of the fruits of the laboring class . He was an overbearing, ruthless zealot to boot. His intolerance, vanity, and propensity for violence struck fear and loathing in all good members of the collective community. That being said, he sure could take a hit. I'll never forget his final words as the seeping, fleshy, bug eyed orifice spat him out on the floor, twitching and covered in mucus for the last time, "The Void! The Eye! The Void in the Eye! The Eye in the Void! The Eye is the Void! The Void is the Eye!" Huh, wunder what he meant by that? The Other Dave wrote: ↑Sun Feb 23, 2025 11:49 pm

I'll be sure to make it for the grand finale! Thanks TOD.

I am unfortunately unable to come again. Here's hoping I can come in April.

I'm down for Lunar! How long do you think it'll take? If it'll be a half day thing, then I could do a smaller Malifaux game @Balloonacorn, maybe of 25pts.

And if Grant has the morning, put me down for the afternoon. The workers own the means of mining moonrocks! Got to think of a better slogan.YellowStreak wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2025 5:37 amYup definately half-day. Shall we do the morning?Grantholomeu wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2025 5:31 amI'm down for Lunar!
