Dear fellow gamers. Final check for rpg festival.

Post by ashmie » Wed Feb 23, 2011 1:14 am

Dear fellow gamers,

This is just a final call for players for March 5th and 6th in Tsu. I'll give the GMs the final numbers for their games this weekend so please reply before Friday to confirm if you will be attending.

So far in terms of definite numbers it's looking like this.

Saturday 5th: Dark Heresy, GM: Stuart
Players: Ash, Egor, Jus

Shadowrun, GM: Jesse
Players: Rich, Aaron, Pat, Vincent

Leslie and Andy will be joining from late afternoon/early evening so they can either join existing games if they haven't finished or I will run Call of Cthulhu for the late comers and any players from games that may have finished.

Sunday 6th: Dungeons and Dragons, GM: Jon
Players: Egor, Jus, Andy, Mustapha,

Dogs in the Vineyard, GM: Dave
Players: Leslie, Rich, Ash, Pat

Once again there may be some late comers who can either join existing games or from late afternoon early evening I will run Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay.

Please remember to bring something fro the bring and barter to exchange or enter in the lucky dip.

Please join from 10 or 10:30 if you can. It's early but we are right at the Tsu station so it's easy to find. UST building 4th floor room 3.
Provisionally we will run until 8pm for rpgs but you are welcome to stay longer if you need. It's also OK to join for a couple of hours if you can't commit to the whole day/weekend. New players also welcome so invite your mates. Come along and see what all the fuss about RPG is.

Look forward to seeing you there, it's should be a good couple of days.

Gambarre,

Ash.

Just a quick reminder for Dogs in the Vineyard (probably not an issue for most gamers, but still, better safe than sorry) - you'll need a bunch of dice! Probably 4-6 each of d4s and d8s, a good 15 or 20 d6's, and 3 or 4 d10s.
Feel free to call me Dave!

Thanks for the Reminder, ToD; I was just rereading the DITV rules and decided I should do a dice inventory. Prolly safe. Prolly.

Also, do you know what time you'd like to start?

Shadowrunners should bring D6s, about 10-20 of them ideally.
(Or just bring a few and roll them lots and lots of times...)

Any players for Dark Heresy will need 2 D10s, preferably in different colours, or one standard d10 and one percentile d10.

I do have some spares that I will bring along just in case.
Please DONT bring one of those big d100 dice, they tend to roll everywhere, be very difficult to read and are generally a pain to use. :D

Other than that, I will be providing all the minis, maps and sheets to be used at the game. I will bring along different characters so there will be some choice about what you want to play. Different skill sets will potentially influence your path through the game.

Thanks lads. Number count updated above. Places now full for Dogs in the Vineyard. Other games have at least one slot open for other players. We have boardgames too so if many people can't get in on a game there will be those while waiting.

Here is a map for the event location. UST building 4th floor Room 3. Tsu station.

Copy and paste to your address bar,
