I needed a break from painting purple so I decided to whip up some terrain for FOW.
Here is my 12th Century Norman Church.
The main roof and the tops of the steeples come off so you can put stands in the church.

Nice!
Can you get a shot with some models to get a feeling for the scale?
Feel free to call me Dave!

Sweet monkey on a bicycle! If thats what you do when you're bored I'd love to see what you could pull off if you were really dedicated to something.
How did you do the bricks? Are they painted on/textured paper?

@TOD: I'll try and take some more pic later. A small command/observer stand will fit comfortably in the steeple. The main part of the building would hold about half a dozen stands.
@Prim: The walls are Tamiya textured paper. The roof is special clapboard/weatherboard patterned sheet. It makes building these things really easy. The former was quite reasonable-ish, the latter a tad expensive 'cos it's imported. But both are easy to work with and look the biz. As for what I can do, when I am motivated, you saw it at our Apocalypse game (i.e. My titan).

Nice, since it is for FW I guess it is smaller than the first impression I got?
Awesome work, with terrain like this who can complain?

Actually, the gabled roof steeples are based on the single one on the real church at St. mere Eglise (which apparently has a dummy of a US Para hanging from it. Inspiration also came from the infamous Ardenne Abbey. Both were very important in the Normandy campaign. Perfect for Krauts vs Brit/US Paras and the 50th.

It does. I've been there and seen it.
