Nice! Haven't heard of the game.
So many games, so little time....

The game is ... different, I think. For one thing, the army selection is quite simple; all 8 factions have six models to choose from (with some having a seventh coming soon, and FCC can have allies from other MegaCons), and for a game you simply choose five of those.

as regards gameplay, everything is card-driven, even weapon ranges. You use the card edges to measure movement and weapon ranges (generally one or two card lengths, or infinite). It feels quite "gamey", rather than a more simulationist approach, but it moves quickly. All models have a selection of special rules (basically two for their faction, plus two personal ones), but since there's only ten models on the board, there's not too much to keep track of.

The MERCS are very old school. Who scuplts them?
And nice paint job. I've said it before, I'll say it again. Real men are not afraid to paint yellow.

Not sure who the sculptors are; I think the different squads were sculpted by different people.
