Alternate gaming table.

Post by Miguelsan » Sat Apr 13, 2013 1:34 am

Why oh why? I don't have enought money to fund all these cool KS projects.

So for 19,000 Y I get a themed RoB, shipping included. Not bad compared with the 33,800Y GW wants for the skull themed one.

I got some base decoration stuff from them before - its pretty good. I rate em as a company. The prices seem...not ridiculous for what you get. Good for a quick-fix nice looking table, I suspect.

One down-side : the table would need to be pretty much permanently at your house, as a 6' x 4' table is 24 tiles, and if each tile is 1" thick (inc hills etc) that's 24" by 12" by 12". Not impossible to transport, for sure, but sufficiently annoying to make it an unattractive proposition.

Wow. And then Corona happened. Just....crickets, all the way through to 2023...

I've been thinking of doing something like that from scratch. Foamcore/matboard base. Mordheim cobblestones on one side, Necro/40K industrial wastland on the other.
...and now his Head was full of nothing but Inchantments, Quarrels, Battles, Challenges, Wounds, Complaints, Amours, and abundance of Stuff and Impossibilities.....
