Some of those omnibus editions are pretty heavy. :D

I think all these new models are excellent, really very nice indeed.

saw that on BoLS (a site which I dislike more every time they drop a "BOOOOOOYAKAAAASHAAAAAAA MAJOR EVENT HAPPENING COME LOOK COME LOOK EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!" :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o headline, and follow it up with a teeny tiny article saying something like "so, yeah. Harleys came out this week. We all know this. Will there be more next week? Stay tuned for updates!")

Aaaanyhoo. Yon bikes are...basically reavers with craftworld canopies on em, which, not entirely coincidentally, I already did for my corsairs. Not that that's a bad thing, particularly. I'm not really sold on the two-man aspect of them. They'd have been fine with just the one pilot on a somewhat elongated bike. The rider looks like he'd be happier on a Hellion skyboard, actually. Still, nice enough minis, although I hear tell it's going to cost 40 bucks for a pack of 2, which is bonkers. Only rumour at the mo, mind you. I'm interested to see what the dedicated transport looks like. Hopefully just a

similar mash up of a venom and a vyper, with some masks n diamonds n suchlike. Can't really go wrong with that, I reckon.

*edit* I just noticed they have engine vents under their canopies, pointing forward. Int'restin wee design aspect there. Something jink related, perhaps? Or maybe a hallucinogen gas thrower? I dunno...

Nice models. Hopefully there enough variations of kits released for Harlequin players to kit out their armies and implement their theme.

Here is some updated info via Faeit212/BoLS:
"The skyweavers are only strength 3, and really do not seem geared toward assault. They have no grenades, flip belts, just what I mentioned on the list. The only close combat weapon available to them is the zephyrglaive comes at an additional cost making them too expensive in my own thoughts even with 3 base attacks. I would imagine that hit and run will help keep them out of being stuck in close combat if they do get caught.

The White Dwarf goes through and mentions that Skyweavers are great at softening up targets for Troupes to engage, or taking down heavily armoured targets with Haywire Cannons.

Yes they are considered Eldar Jetbikes."

WS5 BS4 T4 W2 I6 Sv4+
100pts gets you 2 skyweavers and you may take up to 4 more.
any model can replace the star bolas-12″S6 AP2 blast 1/use only but in addition to bikes guns, with a zephyrglaive-S+1/User AP2/3 Melee. first numbers are for the round they charge

any jetbike can replace the shuriken cannon with a Haywire Cannon 24″S4 AP4 blast haywire

Wargear, each one comes with a Holo-suit, star bolas, mirage launchers-1/game 4++vs shooting, and a skyweaver jetbike

fear, furious charge, and hit and run are the special rules.

I guess they are pretty much a vyper which could if locked down in combat can fight pretty well and use hit and run to escape. Good escort for the upcoming transport. I guess...?

Hobby wise I am taking MiJ's good advice from last year and making and painting all my bases first! They are entering the painting phase soon. Just a small amount of models this time around. One large base, two medium, eight rectangular and ten small ones. Twenty one in total. That I can handle I reckon! :)

I'm definitely going to be picking up the Solitaire.

Also got my eye on the new Harlies for future Wardancer conversions. Love the fact that the masks are interchangeable across all the models; Solitaire to Squads to Bikers (and probably the rumoured High Avatar).
