@ToD - Those Scythes are looking great.

@J-R - A nice variety of minis as always.

Yesterday I put down a brown wash across a bunch of Saxons and some German vehicles. Nothing exciting, but things are progressing steadily.

@ToD awesome work mate!

I finished my last member of my new frostgrave warband and started painting some marines for ASC/Space Hulk/40K.
So many games, so little time....

Awesome, I love the black and gold look.

@jus Noice! I'm all jealous - I want to get me brushes on some bigmarines!

And yeah, my chapter symbols are freehand. You can see how they're all slightly wonky in individual ways if you look closely, heh.

Today I finished my dropfleet fleet. And I don't just mean "finished enough for a game". Oh no, indeed. I actually properly finished All My Stuff For A Game.

Hooray :D It is a most rare event that I do that.

First of all, a couple of frigates: A Lima and a New Orleans. There are 2 of the former and 4 of the latter.

And these two are Taipei and a Jakarta. Again, there are two of each.

And these are the two Battlecruisers - the Avalon and the Atlantis.

And the big daddy: A Tokyo class Battleship

And the whole lot:

I spent yesterday evening applying sand to the bases of my current batch of Saxons. Tonight I get to paint it brown. Yay basing! The most mind-numbingly dull part of our hobby.

Come... to the dark side!

(Imagine I went to the trouble of making a gif zooming in and out on that.)

Last night I (surprisingly quickly, really) got the bulk of the work done on a rhino / razorback for my Scythes, putting the final three devastators on hold for a bit. Just metallics and some markings and my first 28mm tank in forever will be good to go. I'd forgotten how nice and chunky the space marine vehicles are.
