casting plasticard models wouldnt work for 2 reasons:

1) as prim says, the volume of resin required to cast such a thing would be huge. Or, you'd have to really think long and hard about fillers

2) Every single joint would have to be sealed, or else theRTV silicon would seep into the mini, thereby locking it in place forever n ever. Sealing an entire scratch built tank would be a nightmare.
