Yeah, Vlad would be like 7 feet tall. But hey, not a problem, big=scary. I was inspired by Jarhead's Vlad. http://www.coolminiornot.com/253478 That ape can paint.me_in_japan wrote:oh yuss indeedy - enigma do some great stuff. Careful, tho - they tend towards the 32mm side of things, and can look overly tall next to e.g. an imperial guardsman (and because theyre true-er scale, their hands and feet look tiny in comparison.) Anyway, they are ace. I have The Old Death and Dark Vlad, as well as some of their bases. All are very good indeed.
btw, @konrad - nice use of colours on the wolves and ghouls, btw. A bit o variation makes a world of difference. thumbs up from me
The ghouls were a lot of fun. I tried to make them like all graveyard colors on top, all fleshy underneath. All the better to sneak up on the unsuspecting. hssssssss!
The wolves were a pain. I started by basing them a blue grey and tried to lighten them. Just could not get the color like I wanted. I re-primed them white and did it the smart way with washes and a little highlighting the 2nd time around. Like the guy on the box art did. duhhhh......
