Hover Gun Pulpit has to be one of the most Sisters of Battle-ish things the Sisters have. *chef's kiss*

I got a cheeky little order in from Battle Bling for Titanicus today so I may actually get off my bum and prime some stuff up to paint before too long! I rarely meta-chase, but Vortex Missiles were just too iconic to pass up - lots of memories from Rogue Trader and 40K 2e days...

I got a shipping email from Volks today, so that’s good. Hopefully all present and correct upon arrival.

I also saw Dune this evening.

Hey, slow down on that film review. Nobody wants to wade through a wall if text like that.

Seriously though, bad movie?

Does anyone know where, online or not, I could pick up something like Vallejo's Still Water around here? I can find it on Amazon.COM but not .co.jp. I want to try out some water effects and I figured some simple puddles for my pig bases would be a pretty fool-proof place to start.

Volks is the only place locally that stocks Vallejo to my knowledge.
Online, I have no idea. Sorry.

Try any shop that stocks Tamiya or Mr Hobby paint. Even here in Tsu we have plamodel and plarail shops that have water effects, or even resin. There should be a fair number of options up in Nagoya.

Also, if this is your first rodeo with water effects, be careful with shrinkage. Go slow, and do layers of a couple mm at a time. Also, feel free to experiment with adding tints to the water effect, and to paint the walls of your puddle in variegated tones. It all makes a difference.

And if you spill two part resin, may god have mercy on your soul… 😬

I also saw Dune this week.

I have no criticism of this movie.
