Agreed. I'd've thought Knights would be a shoe-in for a FW model. As yet, though, nowt...

Re: What did you do today.
Personally I think the designs are cool, but many of the models themselves suffer from being single-piece castings - lots of weird flat poses. But yeah, centauroid war machines have an intrinsic cool factor.me_in_japan wrote:Agreed. I'd've thought Knights would be a shoe-in for a FW model. As yet, though, nowt...

In the middle of working on the DA bikes again. Also enjoying a Deschutes brewery ale. mmm mmm.
I also realize I'm really both at painting and drinking.

Let me add, I would pull myself naked through a mile of broken glass with my tongue for a Mirror Pond.Konrad wrote:DESCHUTES! Where did you get it!job wrote:In the middle of working on the DA bikes again. Also enjoying a Deschutes brewery ale. mmm mmm.

Put the base colors down on some Iron Warriors and some Hormagaunts. Realized I am putting off doing the base decoration on the next Iron Warriors formation (it's so dang fiddly!), so I have resolved to do that this evening so I can prime them, some Terminators, and a couple Genestealers.

Today I pulled out all of my High Elves to see what I had.
What I have is a huge pile of unpainted, semi-painted and poorly painted High Elf models.
As I felt a bit sick of the standard GW colour scheme (white and blue) I painted up one of the Island of Blood Swordmasters in a different style, green being the main colour with grey trim along the edges. It looked ok, but I couldn't really see myself doing a whole army of it. On top of which, I already have over 1000 points of minis that have the white/blue scheme and I don't fancy repainting them anytime soon.

Re: What did you do today.
Today I did some picked up some flock and put it on some tree base. Looks good. Then picked up a green paint that matched the gaming table top to be the base below the flock. Then painted up a devastators squad and just have eyes, a bit of painting and washes left. Should be able to get them finished this Sunday. Finished building a three story building apartment with detachable levels. Just needs paint and hopefully will get it done on Sunday as well or next week. now I just need to get to my ravenwing bikers, another tactical squad and captain. Should have them done by next weekend. Oh, and built some power generators with working lights. Very nice. Just need to paint them up, put on some tubes and trimmings and they are ready to go for next weekends game.

Time to begin a Bretonia army, where no two models are alike!Primarch wrote:Today I pulled out all of my High Elves to see what I had.

The last two weeks I've redisovered the pleasures of RTW!
Which also translate into I've done no work on models for the same period of time.
