Will Noon and Tom Rolland on the G3 Facebook page have had some experience with resin casting (Will especially - Tom learned a few tricks from him). Might be worth asking on there.
Ta for the advice. I have a suspicion I know how to fix it, but if my idea doesn't work I'll hop over and ask for help. Incidentally, I stopped getting updates from the g3 group a while back. Did I get punted off the group or something? Just wondering, like :)
No, you're still there. We only boot lurkers if they're tools. :) Probably Facebook's preferences algorithms bumping the G3 group down the priority list because you don't post on it much.

On Saturday, we attended Carronade in Falkirk, the first of the Scottish wargames shows. Our participation game, Xtreme-G 3000 Racing, had its first outing, to huge crowds:

There's a bit of a write-up on our website:

and some photos of the rest of the show on various blogs and wargames sites:

Bit late for that; it's finished. :)

Very cool! I noticed you got the thumbnail picture on TTGN too! A whole lot of cool-looking gaming going on there.

Can you give a quick rundown of how your racing game thing works?

We're discussing how to best make the rules available. At the moment, they're a bit ugly and poorly laid out.

That is by far one of the better looking participation games I have seen.

The terrain is fantastic, the minis well painted, and the whole thing goes together very well.

Job well done mate!

Sprayed the other half of the next batch of minis. Didn't quite get around to putting the gold trim on the Iron Warriors currently on the table. Tried to see what could be done to strengthen the join on a couple of the Hormagaunts - in the end, the answer is likely going to be "transport them relatively carefully".

Next up when the Iron Warriors're done: Imperial Guard Vultures (proxies) for Epic, then Assault Marines for ASC.

@AGP This is excellent. Really well done. It reminds of Dark Future but a more polished version. :D
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.
