Today I painted some more British Light Infantry for my Napoleonic army. I didn't get a lot done, but I made a little progress.

Today I spent an hour or so cleaning up and pinning the beginnings of my trollbloods, and a cheap Denny that I got a while back from maelstrom. Thoughts for the evening are: 1) the totem hunter is a really nice mini. Looking forward to painting it. 2) trolls with bazookas. Just....trolls. With bazookas. Huh?

I stuck some rivets on a gantry and experimented with rust effects. (Super glue and chalk dust for texture as it stands)

I spent the evening assembling a dire troll blitzer. Trying to, at least. I swear, I thought the Cryx leviathan was a bitch to assemble, but it's a picnic compared to the blitzer. First, attach front and back torso. Pin, extensively. Fill gaps with milliput. Wait. Now attach legs. Pin, fill, wait. Now fill left wrist stump with milliput, and press left hand into milliput so that the join is actually pinnable. Wait. Pin left hand to left wrist. Attach right arm to shoulder. Pin, fill, wait. Now the tricky part: attach the chain that connects his left wrist, waist and right wrist. This is a thick chain and needs to be pinned in all three frickin places. If you misaligned any one of te previous parts, the chain won't fit. Assuming it does, you may now proceed to assembling the wee chibi troll on his back, along with the ridiculously fragile tommy gun.

Oh, and the whole assemblage is intended to balance on one foot and a knuckle...
