Played my first game of Bushido last night. It's an interesting game, but my first impression is that it drags a bit. I'll have go get a few more games to get the hang of the mechanics.

Painted the first model from the Prefecture of Ryu starter set on Monday in preparation:

A very mediocre paintjob but on the self next to my other mechs it's not so obvious.

You should put up some kind of warning sign. Someone might trip over those huge mould lines and hurt themselves ;)

Seriously though, I do love the old Macross stuff.

Yesterday I got my Napoleonic British Light Infantry finished. Of course, they aren't actually finished, they still need to be attached to proper bases, have glue, sand and paint applied before receiving a layer of flock and static grass. Aside from that though, they are done. :D

Yesterday I bought Blitzkrieg Commander for 1800 yen. I'm not really sure why - I already have a WWII game I've been promising to finish up an army for for more than a year now. But the ability to get what turns out to be a 2000 point army for $40 is more tempting than it should be, considering again how many games are already on my "to-do" list. :D

Today I assembled trolls, again...

To be fair, all I have to do now is gap fill my scatter gunners and kriel warriors, and assemble my earthborn DT and I'm done. Should be finished tomorrow, maybe Saturday. After that: painting...

The past day two I've managed to prime my Poles, add paint to their faces and then tonight paint all their jackets. I've suddenly realized (or remembered) that Prim writing "I painted their bayonets" was an exercise in massive understatement with Napoleonics. :D

Yep. But they do look great when they are done.

The last couple of days I have been working on this;

All of the bare white sections will be covered in sludge. It is (hopefully) going to be some kind of processing plant when it is finished.

The plan is to use it for games of Necromunda and anything WWW2.

Got my rust texture down I think. Instant coffee, crunched down a bit finer, sprinkled on super glue. Should be able to get walkway #2 gessoed tomorrow.
