Nice to see Call of Cthulhu in pride of place also ;)

@Spev- love the Kans! Maybe next Codex they will make new ones that are T6 W4 monstrous creatures. I started putting together a little 1/48th scale Tamiya bulldozer. It's so cute! I'm going to Gorkamorainate it, or maybe try fielding some Grot Tanks one of these days.

Love the crimson fighter model, hated putting it together since it needs to be painted before everything goes together to get at those hard to reach place. Thus no flying it around the room yet. Also got at all the buildings I'd ordered and got the majority based before running out of paint. Still a very accomplished yesterday since in a semi drunk state I managed to put together my tau quad gun and it looked good this morning under sober scrutiny. Avoided that nasty DUI, done under the influence.

And did my diet go out the window. After scarfing it down on vacation a week ago and putting on quite a few kilos, I swore to curb my eating. The week went well with a tofu, salad and watermelon diet. But then I held a dinner for my friend that drove to Kyoto to get us after missing the last trains back from kansai and a future sister inlaws bday yesterday. Chicken wings and potatoes in garlic herb dressing, Thai chicken salad and bruschetta on Friday night backed up by buttered mayo fish, guacamole and tzatziki with pita, shikabob beef and potato salad last night. And peach mousse and cake as dessert. Call me bloated. Happy yes! But belly no! Off to get my brakes change on baby t now. And the car lady calls. She has made meat pies for us for lunch so don't eat lunch. It's a conspiracy.
The one, the only.

Putting foot to butt all over the universe.

Dude , im still ridiculously bloated from Turkey. Having the kids at home everyday during the summer holidays does not make it easy to follow a balanced diet :(

Spent all day, like 6 hours of it mostly uninterrupted, working on that bulldozer. I should have roughed the crew out first, THEN rigged up the rokkit launcher but oh well. I figure another 6 hours and it will be ready to paint.............

Finished all the painting on my AZW British infantry today. 21 days to paint 52 models. Not too bad. Of course, I still need to base them, something that will take another couple of days probably, but I am happy with the progress made. I also started a couple of small scenic pieces this afternoon as the temperature in my gaming room was low enough for me to actually stay in the room long enough to get something done.

Last night I visited the in-laws and spent the night there. We were going to go to Nagashima spaland today, but the rain canceled that plan, so we went over to see Kaze Tachinu. All I can say about that is it was overall disappointing. Nothing like the genius of Hayao Miyazaki in the past. Not to say there aren't redeeming and even very good parts, IMHP, but in the end it felt like it was sunk by a cliche and incredibly old-fashioned tragic love story. (I kept thinking Sekachuu with retching sounds at the time.)

Then, we came home and added a bit of paint and wash on the same model.

Excited to see Konrad's latest orcish madness.

@Prim: 52 models in 21 days, awesome.

@JR nice bikes! Now those are just over the top Gothic.
I actually got my bulldozer ready to prime.
I watched the Fleischer Superman cartoons with my daughter. Gorgeous, gorgeous painting and just the most incredible art deco mad scientist laboratories you will see anywhere. We had to have a little history lesson when we got to the part with Superman fighting "Jap saboteurs".
