What did you do today.

Yesterday I did a little work on some terrain pieces and started clipping Zulus from sprues. Not a very productive day though. Today I am off to Toyohashi to get my Nids stomped on by a Wraithknight. Should be fun.

Yesterday evening and this afternoon I painted up some of my new Reaper: Bones minis.

Today I went to Toyohashi and put my Nids up against Pikey's Eldar.
There were a few points where I thought the game could go either way, but thanks to my Hormagaunts hacking his Wraithknight to pieces, a brood of Ymgral Genestealers ripping through two squadrons of Jetbikes and the Parasite of Mortrex and his Trygon buddy wreaking havoc in his deployment zone, I came fairly close to tabling those pesky pointy eared space elves.

I actually did something hobby related! First, I cleaned my area up. boxed all the retribution that I won't be working on. Then cleared the table and put some to do stuff up there. Where the ret was, I put on display my khador and finished circle. Then I glued together the rest of my wytches for my dark eldar (first time working with fine cast, ewww...). Finally I started painted gator goodness. All in all a productive day for me. My first since Jan 3rd.

Got lots of painting done today (which is good as I'll be OS for most of Sept)!

Basically got my Orc and Chaos blood Bowl teams done (Mino base still needs to be done and some work on the Troll)

Did some eldar landing pad or building construction. Not half bad. I'd like to build some large buildings but I can't find any of the card stock I was using at any of them anymore.

Today, it rained.

And I was lazy and stuck in the house. I did a bit of work on the Vistula lancers.

Yesterday I spent several hours cutting back some of the sprues that were building up in my games room. I think I took the spare parts off about 50 old sprues. This has freed up a lot of space, so I will spend today tidying up and packing stuff away.
