We have to get in some Inquisi/Necromunda one of these days. Alternately, I was paging through (both pages) of FUBAR and the 4OK add on the other day. It would be most intriguing to see if there is 2000 pages worth of fun in those 2 pages.Spevna wrote:I started work on a shanty town. I'm hoping to cram the cr*p out of. Nothing to show just yet.

Guess I'm old school enough to still think of the clan mechs as 'the new stuff'. I still have the 3025 technical readout somewhere back in Australia (the one before the clan invasion, back when most of the mechs are rip-offs of Macross, Crusher Joe, etc.)job wrote:All systems nominal.
I worked a tiny bit on the lancers again.
@YS: That is really old school and really cool looking, but alas it is before my time. I began to get immersed in the BT universe with MW2 Mercenaries.

Today I did a little painting on a Zulu unit, a little building for my current terrain project and started assembling a German 8-Rad armoured car.

Haven't been painting much, mostly just basic colors, magnetising the arms of the Dystopian Legion's Prussian Knights, took a long time, i will use them as Centurions

Ey up I like those very much. A vast improvement on the GW efforts. Incidentally, someone over on CMoN pointed out (amidst the general booing and cat calling directed at the centurion sculpts) that they're actually quite similar to wee chibi ork stompas. It made me think there could be interesting possibilities in there for a blood axe mekboy with his razor saw warmed up and ready for some head-swapping fun...

Jus! Yer not dead
huzzah!
Nice marine conversion. I'm a big fan of the "gotta convert em all" school of army building. Good luck, and keep posting em pics
Incidentally, I haven't done any miniature based stuff for...oooh, weeks, maybe even months now because of house move, baby and work, but on Saturday my mum and dad arrive, AND I get my first day off in 3 weeks AND its a 3 day weekend. I may even be able to undercoat something! How exciting!

Re: What did you do today.
Today I spent most of my free time looking over a large pile of undercoated and broken marine minis and started fixing them up and reattaching detached bits. I also figured out a fairly quick and easy conversion for the new Grav-guns in the marine codex as I am not going to buy a full box of tactical marines for every gun I want.
Tomorrow I will spend my free time army list-ing and points total-ing to rebuild my current armies to account for their new chapter tactics.

@ Jehan, Jus: nice looking conversions.
Tonight I've been continuing the work on my lancers. I also began the Prussian Landswehr regiment Komura gave me.
