Today I installed iOS 7. I remain to be convinced it's a step up from iOS 6. What the heck is with the all-caps keyboard? I liked it when you could see if the caps lock was on. And that brown bar on the home screen? Who the hell chose brown? Hmmmmnnnnn....

Not much to report today. I glued some bits and pieces onto some Hussars and that was about it.

I remember the egg walkers. I wasn't aware that there was something between them and the plastic kit we have now. I mainly played Epic and WFB in those days.

Today, I will work on my hussars some more but I'm starting to get the FoW tick too.

Edit: Take it all back. I ended up fiddling with EW French lists to square off in future battles with Obrest Voss. You should never write anything before you do it.

Today I continued to paint stuff pretty much at random. I got the base coat done on some more Mantis Warriors, painted and washed the bodies on a dozen horses, did the wheels and tracks on my German vehicles and got a few more steps done on a unit of Zulus. So thats four different manufacturers minis covering four different periods/genres.

I spent today house hunting. Slippery little bu#@*%s, I didn't manage to catch a single one.

This evening I finished gluing together the last of my KGL Hussars and started assembling some Russian Liberation Army (ROA), for my WWII Germans. German infantry bodies with a few bits of Soviet kit thrown in. Once they are done they should allow me to field legal forces for about half of the theatre selectors in the Armies of Germany book for Bolt Action.
