Honestly though, a few important dice rolls went against me, including my attempt to turn a large block of witch elves into Skaven clanrats. I missed getting the spell off by 1!! The Malifaux game went better for me with Lady Justice teaching Perdita Ortega who is the real queen of the guild.
Sounds like you guys had a great time :) Who was the Elf and Rat of the match?

Did you play the new Malifaux rules?

Drucii MVP = The new Witch Elves!

We stuck to the old rules for Mali. Hopefully that B**** ladyJustice gets nerfed into oblivion in the new edition!

It took some time, but here are some pictures of what has been going across my painting table recently.
Some Reaper Minis. The Vampire in red armour and the female knight at the back are metal. The others are all plastic.

A Russian armoured car for Bolt Action.
Image

Some Raven Guard assault marines. They still need the bases doing and a couple of washes to bring out some details. The unit icons on their shoulders are all hand painted. (poorly I may add).
Image

My Osttruppen. Russian soldiers in the German army, wearing uniforms made in France and sent off to fight the Americans and the British. The icon on their sleeves is a blue Saltire on a white background, the symbol of Saint Andrew, the Patron Saint of Russia.
Image

Some British Dragoons I have been working on for a while now.
Image

A Reaper Bones hydra that I am putting paint on every once in a while.

Great stuff Prim :D Well done sir! Lots more heroes and villains to go I presume.

Nice snow on the tank, too, I might add.

Those Raven Guard are in Corvus pattern power armour, is that right? Beakies and studded shoulders?

For the most part. Some of them have the wrong leg armour. But yes, that squad is all beakie helms and studded shoulder pads.

Bravo Prim. Some nice work there and a great range of stuff. Glad to see the Napoeonics are still gong strong. The Reaper heroes and the Russian tank are both excellent. I particularly like the attention to detail on the face of the tank guy. Stubble! How did you paint that?
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

Looks like you've been busy Prim! I like the russian car and raven guard in particular. Marines always look better with studded pads and beaky helmets!
I had a slightly unsuccessful day hobby wise, but better than nothing. Had a look at my built and undercoated units of Napoleonic French heavy cav and hussars for BP, given that I may play a game of that in a couple of weeks. Half heartedly started to paint one of the latter and realised that I was in a minefield research wise what with the colours of braiding, pelise, plumes, epaulets and whatnot. Could feel my very insides turning grey at the prospect of getting all these details right, and reasoned that painting should be fun at least. Therefore put them away again and made a bit of progress on my bicycle section of 10 for my BA Home guard.
Also printed out some mini sized British propaganda posters to use as set dressing for BA games.

Looked at the Warlord/Mongoose Dredd stuff again. It's still giving me the glad eye. Don't think any fellow forum folk locally are interested in it though, are they?

Mix a little grey in with the colour you are using for the skin and dab it on in the right places.
