Today I bicycled about Nagoya. Saw Nanzan again (absolutely the same). Saw the Higashiyama tower and almost got a close up of the weird wooden tower, but the roads near it were closed off.

I did prime some skirmishers for BP and I'll try to get some painting and modeling in this evening after I make dinner. I'm feeling good about what I've (hardly) accomplished.

Today, I finished up some reinforcements for my Pirate crew, as well as a few Witch Elves I painted up as practice. I also finished off my Great Bray Shaman at long last. And last but not least, started on a couple of the models from the new 40K starter set.

I've gone on a couple of aim-less bicycle rides when I just needed to get out. Great fun!

The wooden tower in question is the old Higashiyama Water Tower. The entire premises, which includes some garden and park area, belongs to the Waterworks department and is normally closed off to the public, but you can visit it each year on Nagoya Day (August 8) and climb the tower. I went a year or two ago just for fun and got a commemorative water can.

@spev - at this rate you'll have more painted eldar than me by the end of the week

Today I spent money on minis I don't need (40% oooooooooooofffffff!!!!) I gave Sean a bath and then put him to bed. This takes longer than you might think, altho not as long as last night, gawds be praised.
I also drank some coffee and read some Horus Heresy (Fear to Tread.) Not bad, actually. Zero painting done

Thought about it quite a lot, tho

Also, while the kids were doing check tests, I walked around the classroom looking vigilant but actually designing a GD winning duel in my head. Oh, I has a cunning plan precious, oh yes indeedy
