Today I went to see Thor. Pretty good, but do check your brain upon entry to the theatre, because you won't be needing it. Still, very much worth seeing if you like a bit of smiting.

I also discovered, moments before entering the movie theatre, that my iphone contacts list had disappeared. All of it. I have zero entries in my contacts. Words cannot express my confusion and wrath. Seriously. Take a moment and consider what effect the complete removal of all contacts in your phone would have on you.

I can only pray that at some point in the past few weeks I connected my phone to iTunes, and that iTunes backed up my phone. Otherwise I may have to pay a visit to the local SoftBank store. They will not like it when I do...

Try turning the phone off completely and then on again. I had a similar thing happen to me and that sorted it out.

I checked my brain years ago, to watch....uh.......Anyways. For Asgard! He smites Elves doesn't he? Creepy look like they live in a basement playing Vampire the Masquerade, elves. Got to love that.
Loki stole you i-phone list? He could probably do that you know.
I spent about half an hour of a lousy, crappy, rainy, slushy, bitter cold sucky day out in it while my little girl mucked about making mizoredaruma. One was actually kind of cute. Spent the rest of it inside (thank god) sculpting Squat Orks, watching Batman: The Animated Series playing Baldur's Gate and listening to Oscar Peterson. All and all, pretty good day.

Thanks, guys, I dug out my old Tamiya plastic glue (with brush applicator) and I'll use it.

@ MiJ: The very same things happened to my wife. Unfortunately for her she wasn't able to find any backup information and it happened to her repeatedly.

Last night, I also built two more Panhards for my FoW EW project.

Kept packing and trying to ignore the stress my boss is causing. Another person quit and he's decided to try and retain me (after nearly a month of no contact and mutual agreement that it is time for me to try something different) and rescue him from his bad decisions again. Hopefully the school will say yes tomorrow.

That sounds rather intriguing. I (and, I suspect, others) would be quite interested to see pictures, as and when they become available :)

As for me, this weekend I did more work on the bases, which now require only a spot of greenery and poooooosibly some weathering powders and oil paints to finish them off. I also made banana muffins with chocolate and nutella icing. They were good. How good? This good:

Sean: apple!
Me: you want an apple?
Sean: un
Me: (takes apple from fridge)
Sean: (very excited) apple! (does the happy dance)
Me: I was actually thinking to give you a bit of muffin. Do you want muffin, or apple? (holds muffin and apple up)
Sean: pauses and thinks for a moment.
Sean: apple, bye bye!
Me: muffin it is, then...

Tonight I built 5 more plastic BA Germans. Ugh! They are fiddly little models. That and the plastic glue reeks! :( Uh well, I've got billions of brain cells.
