Looks like a big, choppy sword to me. What exactly is the problem with it?

Big and choppy would have been the adjectives of choice for me too. Looks the business.

For once I have to dissagree with Spevna and say that Uforge model may be a good price but the model is less than great. And does not even come close to the FW models.

I'm with the ruckster - ultraforge are fine, i suppose, but the FW daemons are just stupendously good. And probably easier to stick together than their eldar... :x

ummmmm the slaanesh demon, each spike has to be stuck on seperately. takes hours and lots of glued together fingers.

at least with the Keeper its reasonably obvious where each spike goes. With these thrice accursed Shadow Spectres, Im sitting looking at them thinking "ok, theyre all stuck together, and have a full complement of limbs. So what do I do with these tasselly things?" They each go in a very specific location. sadly, said location has no tab or any kind of marking whatsoever. The tassels are also all very, very similar.

Ive temporarily given up on em and have been getting on with painting kabalites...

anyway - im completely digressing here.

centrepiece daemons - Bloodthirster is good. Herald and the other big daemony thing - also good.

@seb - if theyll fit whichever mini you choose, I have a spare pair of Be'Lakor wings, if you want em. Theyre metal, mind you, so if you have a resin or plastic model youll want to pin it to a heavy base (with stones or something on it) so it doesnt fall over.

Thanks mate! Hopefully I'll be getting my be'lakor model in the middle of march.
I also ordered a pack of bloodletters from ringtail, expensive but I got to get started on my army, right now I have nothing to work on.

I am thinking a lot of the FW bloodthirster and I want to buy it.. But not right now, will put away a small amount of money each month, hopefully i will be able to buy it this spring/early summer.

If I were you (and trust me, I know the "ooooh! want!" feeling), Id get the bulk of my army done before I got the bloodthirster. This is because, for me, a model that expensive demands that I invest a lot of time and effort giving it my best shot painting it. A FW 'thirster should really be taking months to paint, and it can get quite soul destroying when your army is sitting around doing nothing cos youve spent all your time painting 'ol Thirsty. I'd say your best option is to buy your infantry and whatnot (sorry, not a fantasy gamer) and get them painted. Keep saving cash, as you suggested, but dont buy the sucker until the rest of your army is painted. Then you can do him as a kinda "yay i finished an army" reward.

On a smaller scale, Im trying the same idea with my dark eldar. Im painting a unit of 10 kabalites. when theyre done, im gonna do 1 harlequin as a reward. then, 10 wyches, then a harley, and so on by squad. I hope it works - I have a brainful of ideas for harley patterns...

That is a great idea, I will do so.
He shall be my reward :D

But man, I don't have enough confidence in my painting skills to paint such a beast yet. Hopefully I do when I get him.

Problem? I don't like it. :) More specifically, I don't think it matches the rest of his metalwork. The armour is rather ornate and well-made. The sword on the other hand is a length of cast iron on a stick.
