*edit* hmmm. Those exhaust vents are rather black. Next time I have the ab out I might do a wee glowy green scoosh in each one. We shall see if I remember...

@MiJ: Well as usual for you, it is an excellent job. I like the highlighting work on the cloaks and the metals were done very well.

Today I applied three decals to my 28mm StuG.

That's brilliant Dave. I'm sensing a golden daemon award in your future if you keep that level of quality going. Awesome.

Golden daemon! Ha! Not in this country, mate. Or any other in the pretty near future if I'm not mistaken.

*edit* but thank you for the kind words, nonetheless. :)

@M_i_J - Nice gribbly mini. Well done.

Today I did most of the basing on my AZW project, hopefully I can do the rest this evening. I also got in a 1500 point game of Bolt Action which saw my plucky panzer grenadiers trying to prevent a breakthrough by a combined force of annoying airborne and (perhaps rather ahistorically), some frustrating french foreign legion. An 18-17 victory points total resulted in a favourable draw for me. The allied forces gave it their all, but between some lucky dice rolls, a sharp shooting tank ace and a well positioned flammenwerfer, I held the line.

Started the warwitch siren. Um. This photo is less than illuminating. I spent maybe an hour doing the cloak and other cloth bits. The shadows aren't black, they're green and purple. The base colour is a warm grey. The highlights are purple. It's not as monochrome as this pic would have you believe...

I finished the chimeras and started on the first of the two valkyries. I also switched over from superglue to cement (the tamiya extra thin). I'm not sure which I like better yet, but so far the cement seems to have a few advantages.

Luckily I could go home earlier than usual yesterday. I finished ashigaru armor stitch and some tiny part.
Also, I've prepared base for ashigaru.
