Re: What did you do today.
Well, I finished my Strain marathon, and have now completed season 1. Since filming for season 2 starts next month, I guess I'll have to find something else to do for a year or so.* That huuuuuge pile o unpainted minis is looking like an interesting option...next stop: tidying the painty room and getting on with those infinity figs, progress on which was so rudely interrupted by the arrival of the wormy vampire tv show...
*interestingly, I believe that the show is contracted to run for between 3 and 5 seasons, but guaranteed no more than that. The aim is, apparently, to tell the story in the novels as closely as possible to the novels and then stop. I am vey much in favour of this - stretching out TV shows' runs just cos they're popular inevitably leads to boring crap. FX tv, I salute you.

@MiJ - The Strain tv show is pretty cool, thanks for the recommend.
Project wise, the 6th Para Armoured Recon is on the drawing board, consisting of 3 Bren carriers and 5 man teams, a Dingo and a couple of Cromwells.
Naghammer prep is not underway yet as I haven't decided which plot character will inspire me the most.![]()
I talked to some of the Japanese 40k gamers at the recent Zengo a bit and urged them to come along this year. Hope I made a good impression.
Hopefully a couple of the Japanese guys will feel inspired to come along. We'll need to get some of the rules translated.
Yesterday I managed to wrap up all the minis I am currently painting and I was able to get some flock down on the bases. Tonight I will knock off the excess flock, add some static grass for variety and get some pictures taken.

@Spevna- owldskewlfirdawin! Like that axe!
I got in some sculpting yesterday. Managed a not totally malformed thumb. The trigger finger going with it is a bit crooked and will have to get chopped off. (sorry)
This morning I awoke, clammy and trembling, wisps of a nebulous dream catching at the ragged edges of waking consciousness. In this unsettled state, I stumbled to my book shelf, questing fingers scrambled through the dark, dusty, ragged paperbacks to find "The Dunwich Horror" there. I can not explain what strange compulsion made me take that ancient, discarded tome and drop it into my bag to read on the morning train.
It's true! It's true! Yog sothoth is the gate!
Happy Halloween!

Re: What did you do today.
Today I got all my current projects wrapped up and photographed.
First off, some enhanced Gorillas and Zombies for Wierd World War 2 games.

A Puma armoured car for Bolt Action.

Some Waffen-SS for Bolt Action. I used three different types of camo on them.

A better view of the paint schemes I used. The text indicates the pattern for their smock.

Some Napoleonic British (2nd Battalion, 44th East Essex Regiment). They are waiting on flags at the moment.

And a unit of Ashigaru skirmishers for my Samurai army/Ronin.

Re: What did you do today.
I finished painting my Land Speeder Tempest, a couple of Tyrant's Legion Retaliator Squads, Centurion Carnac Commodus and Captain Corien Sumatris for my Astral Claws army. I'll get some photos later in the weekend, after the 24-hour game of Apocalypse* involving about 17,000 points of Ultramarines (including a Thunderhawk Gunship, a Stormraven and two Stormtalons), Imperial Guard (with a Bandeblade and six Leman Russ variants) and Astral Claws.

Today I packed up some boxes ready to move at the end of the year and started to assemble a unit of Ashigaru for my Samurai army.
