What did you do today.
Re: What did you do today.
@Agp, a dedicated gaming room, congratulations (he says through gritted teeth of jealousy). Reminds me of the moment when Hans Gruber in Die Hard reels off a quotation about Alexander the Great weeping, as he had now achieved his life goal and 'there were no more worlds to conquer...'
@MiJ, look forward to seeing him finished. I have a lot of time for Tamiya reds.
Anyroad, couple of chores today, then an enjoyable, lazy day off.
Tried to find out how and where to pay my tax, as I'm a part-timer until Jan. I had been told by head office at my main eikaiwa gig, that I need to do this in December. Thought the local city hall might offer some joy, but they didn't really shed much light. I suppose a dedicated tax-office is the place I need - if any one knows where I need to start, I'd appreciate some pointers.
Then the Supermarket, and a read of the campaign rules for Dredd. Think I have it clear now.
An 80s Alan Moore authored volume of the Captain Britain comic arrived. I wanted it as I recalled a few issues of the comic back in the mid 80s. So far it is as I remembered it, bizarre but readable. Hard to tell what on earth is happening intially, given the thing starts in the middle of an established story Moore inherited. Inspired by the art though. Think I'll rip off the iconic costume for a super hero mini I have.

The Nagoya tax office is in Shiyakusho somewhere, though I'm not sure where exactly. Do a quick search on Gaijinpot as well, or see if there is anything on the Nagoya International Centre homepage. Those are usually the best places to find answers to the workings of the local government.

Re: What did you do today.
Cleaning the restic minis in Sed wars is absolutely the most annoying thing about them. I found that a new knife blade helps a lot, and then just carefully cut off the flash. Try not to backscrape it like you would regular plastic - it just goes all frizzly. I also found that 2part epoxy works much better for gluing them to their bases. Basic assembly, superglue is fine, though.
Also, if you find that the grendlr doesn't fit together, use a hair dryer or some hot water to carefully soften the stubborn bits. It'll soften them enough for you to bend them into place. Don't melt em though
Pps - make sure you download the newest version of the rules from the McVey website. I hear they're very much improved over the original.

Re: What did you do today.
@MiJ, I have had issues with it on PS3, trying to watch iplayer. This happened about a month back- I just went to the unotelly site and updated something on my account as requested (can't be more specific from memory), it was automatic and easy-peasy, and all was well. Probably the same issue as I had, think it's easily resolved.
@Prim, I appreciate the tax advice, will get on it next day off.

Channel 4 is working on the PS3, but BBC isn't.
BBC is working on my iPad just fine.
The problems seems to be specific to BBC iplayer, but just ion the PS3.

Re: What did you do today.
I have exactly what spev said. 4OD is fine, BBC iPlayer is no good on PS3, but OK on PC.
Maybe a problem at the beeb's end?

Primed the Panther this morning, did two loads of laundry, got my hair cut, picked up an iPhone Plus, and started painting Middlestone on my Panther.
