My stuff (and JR's) contains some things from the 3rd wave, and so we would have still been waiting...

But...

I needed an archon for me dark Eldar, so I took advantage of their quite generous offer to ship out any KS stuff they had in stock along with any order made at the start of this month. Got my shipping notice this morning, so I expect a parcel of jubbly some time next week, maybe a tad after. This is good, as I've had a shitty past few days at work and could use a morale booster.

Did some sculpting and took some pictures. But Photobucket does not like Mozilla or something. Will try and put them up later.
@JH- like that repair crew. I was thinking of getting some of those gals to use as gretchin (Gretchen?) gun crew for the SquatOrks.
I seem to have a cheesecake theme going recently. Have to get back to painting that swamp-troll before you guys start to worry (feel sorry) for me.

Today I cleaned up and assembled 16 minis from Reaper, attached some Samurai to their bases and put a little extra detail on the M10 I finished building last week.

Today I went to my new place of work (from next year at least) to get contract info, and find out a bit more about the place. Looks like there'll be a heck of a lot to take on board quickly, but it's not so different to what I've done before.
Later, had to teach one of the part-time gigs I will soon be leaving prematurely. Students don't know yet and I'm not allowed to tell them, which is a bit of bummer. Can't be helped.
Opened a package from Warlord to find it contained the Dredd Supplement I ordered (hip hip hooray!) and a box of, erm, The bloody Judda, rather than The Klegg Invasion force I ordered as a Xmas present (hip hip..yeah). With smaller errors Warlord have let me keep their mispacks. Fingers crossed, though I expect might have to send these back.
Recently I found a channel on youtube for Gaki No Tsukai:- Waratte mo ikenai (the new year no laughing show with Downtown). Everything is translated for illiterates in Japanese like me. It's ridiculous and always the same, but it does make me chuckle and I find myself watching hours of it.

Today I worked a bit on bigred. He's coming along. Still need to do both arms/shoulders, but after that I can get started on the fiddly bits (gems, runes, the usua Eldar shenanigans.)

Lots of little mistakes showed up somehow after I took the pictures. (The majic of magnification) I might even go back and fix a few (crooked toes) but she's basically done. Not bad for something that started as just extra putty and evolved. I should actually make a plan and work from sketches and things one of these days.

Impressive work on the Avatar. I like how it really looks molten.

The diggas are looking good as well. I am always impressed by scratch-built minis.

@ Konrad: Nothing looking babes, but you are making this webpage awful risqué in front of the wife. :D (sweating)

The past few days I've been kind of slow about hobby stuff. There's the cold, work and general laziness, but there's also the fact my American grandmother passed away over the weekend. My wife and I were to visit her this coming February. I was looking forward to hearing her stories. (She was a consummate story-teller and fantastic store of stories.) With her in my thoughts part of me isn't quite fully interested in hobby stuff, at least for more than a short period. We're really going to miss her.

I've managed to add bits of paint to the Panther. Today I put on some decals. I also did some odds and ends on a few models and glued the two bonus figures from Warlord on bases. I also indulged in buying a Blood Slaughterer from Forge World. Big kudos to Forge World. Considering it is just before Christmas and they are running several sales, they received, filled and dispatched my order within 24. I think that has to be the fastest dispatch I've experience yet! I look forward to painting the model and ordering from them again in the near future.

There are a lot of old Imperial Guard minis on the GW site. Tallarn, Steel Legion, and Mordians.
Not sure if they've always been there, but I the if they may have been added recently.

$40 for ten tallarns is quite tempting, I must say.
