Thanks for the well-wishes, folks. I'm feeling a good deal better today, albeit not 100%. Couldn't make it into work (or uni :( ) but spending the whole day in bed definitely paid off. I went to see an ENT doctor this morning, where I got the most humungous injection I have ever witnessed. I swear this thing was usually used for horses... Anyhoo, whatever it was, it clearly worked, as now I am feeling rather more human. Today was the first time I have ever taken more than 1 day off work in a row for illness, and only the 3rd or 4th time I've taken any time off like this in my life. I'd rather not do it again, truth be told.

So, onwards and upwards. I hope :) I was even well enough to do a smidge of painting. Just basic shading on some basic guys, but progress is progress, no? :)

Did you make the mold with greenstuff? I made some oyumaru molds and did some press molding with various putties.
Great tutorial here.

@Miguel san- I don't think that gun is big enough. Maybe you could do a bit of conversion work and get so it is literally twice the size of the monster holding it. :mrgreen:

And here is what progress I've made these last couple weeks. Got two other Diggaz in the works, but no where near complete.

And just a bit more work on those two Stunties and they will be done. They turned out a little smaller than I intended. I planned to make them a bit more "heroic" than the original sculpts.

I made the mould with oyamaru, something is wrong with the hardener, i asked at Volks , i should use 50% A and B, but it is sitting a while and it is not really hardening.

@j-r : Are you measuring by weight or by volume? I find doing it by weight makes things go smoothly*. Happy birthday, btw :)

*obviously, if the hardener is indeed bollixed then there ain't much you can do about it...

@J-R - Happy Birthday.

Today I managed to get several hours of painting in. I did some more work on my Raven Guard and got the base colour down on phase 1 of my Semi Secret Project. I also ordered some MDF and other materials to make the top of my gaming table.

Did a tad of painting on some decorative elements for the supersecretproj. My painting rate will have to slow down from now on (I knooow! How is that even going to be possible?!?!) as I am sworn off late night painting due to not wanting to spend any more time bumping into walls and throwing up. Meh, amateur, I know...

16 hours in planes and 7 or 8 hours transferring later I landed in Miami. Do I dare say the weather is in the cool 60s? :D

@Jr, allow me to wish you a Happy Birthday, too..
Went to Sakae with the family for (what was mostly window) shopping, quite pleasant mooching around town.
Later, watched the first 3 episodes of Wolf Hall (period drama from BBC based on book of same name). I'd heard high praise and wasn't disappointed. Tudor machinations, but not, thankfully, like The Tudors tv show. Nicely understated, great actors and acting.
Later, assembled Necrons for a 750 pt list I hope I can bring to next Joshin. The warriors are a bit irritating to put together so far. Thankfully the previous owner (Jus) had already made a start on 20 warriors and a ghost ark, so I'm well on the way. 10 more warriors and 8 immortals should do it.
Don't have the new codex yet though, ho ho!
